Seriously???

How has it seriously been a year already?? This was a pretty special weekend. Charlie turns ONE on Tuesday but we celebrated this weekend.  It was a day filled with as much excitement as it was a year ago. Lots of laughs and oohing over Mr. Charlie Boy. It was a great excuse to bring family together and celebrate our wonderful blessing who is getting oh so big.

The party started out with lots of food and CAKE!!!

AJ and I got Charlie a wagon...which we nicknamed the "Chuck Wagon" :)

He then sat on the box to open the rest of his presents:) ...well until he fell off.

We love you Charlie Boy. You are such a sweet and easy going little guy. We cannot wait to see what life has in store for you.  

You have brought so much joy to our life and I really can't think back to what life was like before you. (Well I do remember how nice it was to sleep in) :) So much has changed in such a short year. Charlie..you have shown us what our own little family is all about. Nothing has changed as much as you have though. Look how much you have grown! 

We are beyond proud to be your parents. :) Love you! 

Man of many words :)

AJ and I have looked at each other several times this weekend with that 'did he just say that?' look on our faces.

This weekend he started saying "more" when eating. He will sometimes do the sign for it too. I love the way he says it. So stinking cute!

We can also say "Where is Zoey?" or "Where's Gabby?" and he points to them. Then says, "Woof!" I tried to catch it on video tonight but with no such luck. As soon as I get the dang camera out.. he stops. EVERY time! 

AJ was playing with Charlie before bed tonight. Charlie is obsessed with AJ's phone. He grabbed AJ's phone and AJ said "Hello." Before we knew it, Charlie had the phone to his ear saying "Hello" :) 

How can it be?????

How can it be that my sweet baby boy is almost one? EEKK!!! I am so not ready for that to happen. Time flies.

I found this video this morning and had to post it because I am missing those little baby squeaks that only a small little baby makes. Well maybe he is only making them before his bath :) Seriously how was this almost a year ago????

disclaimer... AJ and I hadn't slept or showered in over 48 hours. Having a baby is hard work...pay no attention to what we..errr...I  look like :) It was very late at night :)
