A New Toy and A New Trick!

We left Charlie home with Grandma and Grandpa Weieneth for an hour today and we came home to a boy who knew how to shake his head "no!" Grandma and Grandpa swear they didn't teach him this. "He must have learned it from the big boys at daycare," they say.

HA! I think they have it out for us:)

Here are a few videos of his cool new toy and his new trick :)

7 months :)

Charlie's thoughts during our 7 month photo shoot: (Comments by AJ...sorry Charlie..your dad's crazy)

"List of things to do today: poop, spit up, shove things in mouth."

"How do I look, Mom?"

"hummmm????"

"Scratch 'poop pants' off list of things to do..."

"Chicks dig stickers."

"Alas, poor Yorick..."

"Tastes like people."

"Central Michigan, REALLY?!?"

"Check out my alligator..."

"Goodbye, sticker. I will now eat you."

"Who's the creeper in the background?"

 Happy 7 months Charlie :)

The Proof is in the Picture!

We got Charlie's 6th month pictures taken last Sunday. His sneak peak was up yesterday and I couldn't help but compare it to his 3 month pictures. He is growing so quickly and I just wish I could slow time down. But what really amazes me is how much his hemangioma has gone down. Look at the difference the medicine has made! The proof is definitely in the picture! :)

3 month picture-- a few weeks BEFORE we started the meds.

6 months pictures --3 months after we started the meds.

LONG Overdue!

Summer break is long gone and a new school year is underway. I spent the last weeks of break soaking up every ounce of Mr. Charlie Boy as I could. Can't believe he is six months old. A lot has happened this month!

Charlie is now eating solid foods. He wasn't too sure what to think at first...but now he gobbles them right up.

This morning I made peas, green beans, yams, peaches, pears, and apples. Charlie has a feast waiting for him in the freezer! :)

Charlie went to Kelly's (daycare) for the first time. Kelly keeps telling me that he is an happy and easy baby! It seems like he really loves it there. He lights up when he sees the other kids. He is the youngest and just loves watching the 3 other boys. Won't be long until he tries to keep up with them!
1st day of daycare
He also turned 6 months old this month. This is by far my favorite stage!  He now has 2 teeth....
 sits up....

rolls over....
 and grabs his toes!
What a fun month it has been!
